My Journey...

My path into healing began long before I ever imagined becoming a bodyworker.

I grew up around natural health and bodywork through my mother, but much of my early life was shaped by performance, discipline and pushing the limits of what I thought was possible. I competed nationally across endurance sports, trained as an Australian Army Cavalry Officer and learned how to lead, perform and remain composed under pressure.

But underneath that drive was a deeper curiosity:

What are we truly capable of, and what gets in the way?

That question has taken me around the world and through nearly two decades of personal development, spiritual exploration and embodied healing.

My first formal introduction to personal development came through Landmark as a teenager. Later came more than five years immersed in Tony Robbins' work, followed by Dr Joe Dispenza, whose advanced training opened my mind to the extraordinary relationship between the brain, body, belief and our capacity to change.

From 2017, my exploration moved deeper into shamanic traditions, meditation, yoga and plant medicine. I have had the privilege of learning from teachers, healers and shamans from cultures across South and Central America, North America, Europe and Australia.

The teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi and Mooji also became a significant influence on my inner journey, particularly around self-inquiry, presence and surrender.

Eventually, the search for transformation became less about acquiring more knowledge and more about learning to surrender, listen and trust.

Inspired partly by Michael Singer's The Surrender Experiment, I left the Army and stepped into the unknown. I backpacked through South America and Cuba, spent three years travelling throughout the UK and Europe, built businesses, danced salsa, climbed mountains, skied, ran trails and followed opportunities without always knowing where they would lead.

Then three separate invitations within a month drew me to Costa Rica.

I stayed for four years.

Along the Way

Travel became part of the exploration itself, exposing me to different cultures, traditions, landscapes and ways of understanding what it means to live fully.

Living amongst the jungle radically simplified my life. I immersed myself in nature, ceremony, community and deep personal healing. I began confronting patterns and wounds that intellectual understanding alone had never reached.

And it was there that I found the work that would eventually become my craft.

The Work

Discovering the Intelligence of the Body.

In Costa Rica, I discovered Structural Integration and the extraordinary world of fascia.

I later expanded my understanding through the work of Tom Myers and Anatomy Trains, studying technique, BodyReading and specialised dissection workshops that deepened my understanding of fascia and whole-body structural relationships.

But the greatest education has come from more than 1,500 hours of hands-on experience, learning to observe, listen to and understand the body.

An Important Influence

Learning Through Experience

While living in Costa Rica, I met John Benedict, a Structural Integration practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience. John had originally come to the work following multiple injuries sustained as a Navy deep-sea diver. He later studied at the College of Healing Arts in Santa Monica and apprenticed with Craig Nelson, a Structural Integration practitioner and Olympic athlete, before spending decades working with athletes and clients throughout the Los Angeles area.

John became an important mentor and influence on my own work. I received extensive hands-on work from him over time, learning primarily through experiencing the work in my own body rather than through formal instruction.

That experience became an important foundation for my understanding of fascia and Structural Integration, and continues to influence the way I work today.

I began noticing that the body often tells a story the conscious mind cannot.

Old injuries. Protective patterns. Chronic tension. Stress. Emotion. Years of compensation.

What appears to be "just a tight shoulder" or persistent back pain can be part of a much larger pattern.

My work gradually evolved beyond any single technique. Structural Integration gave me a map, but intuition, presence, nervous-system awareness and experience taught me how to listen.

Rather than forcing the body to change, I learned to work slowly enough that it could begin to let go.

Then My Own Body Was Broken

In January 2025, everything I understood about the body became intensely personal.

While descending on my bike, my front tyre slipped on debris as I rounded a corner, causing me to collide with a guardrail at around 60 km/h. I was incredibly fortunate to survive and avoid paralysis.

I fractured 11 vertebrae, 10 ribs, both collarbones and both scapulae, and punctured my left lung.

My body had been broken in ways I could never have imagined.

Yet nine weeks later, I ran three kilometres pain free.

Recovery reinforced something I had witnessed repeatedly in others: the human body has an extraordinary capacity to adapt, reorganise and heal.

It also deepened my respect for the difference between forcing recovery and creating the conditions in which recovery can occur.

Healing isn't simply mechanical. We are not machines made from disconnected parts.

Our physical structure, nervous system, emotions, beliefs, relationships, environment and sense of meaning constantly interact.

Bringing It All Together

Today, back in Adelaide, my work brings together seemingly different chapters of my life.

The Army taught me discipline, leadership and composure under pressure.

Elite sport taught me to understand performance, discomfort and the body's limits.

Personal development taught me to question the stories through which we experience ourselves.

Spiritual practice taught me surrender.

Travel taught me community, culture and curiosity.

Relationships taught me softness and vulnerability.

My accident taught me humility and an even deeper respect for the body's intelligence.

And bodywork taught me to trust what the body reveals beneath conscious awareness.

I don't believe healing comes from one technique, teacher or philosophy. Nor do I believe I "heal" another person.

My role is to listen deeply, see patterns others may have missed, and create the conditions for change.

I work with fascia and physical structure while also listening to the emotional patterns held within the body. I see the body as a barometer of our inner world, constantly communicating what needs our attention. When we learn to listen rather than override what we feel, the body can become one of our greatest guides towards healing.

At the heart of everything I do is the same curiosity that has followed me since I was a teenager:

What becomes possible when we stop fighting ourselves, release what we no longer need to carry, and reconnect with the intelligence already within us?

That is the work I am here to explore.
And to share.

Beyond the Individual

Over time, my curiosity about healing has expanded beyond the individual to the communities and environments that shape us.

In Adelaide, this led me into community advocacy and protecting our Park Lands, bringing people together around something I deeply value: preserving nature and public spaces for future generations. I helped establish the Protect Our Parklands Grassroots Movement as one expression of that commitment.

I’m also exploring how the principles I’ve learned through leadership, sport, bodywork and personal development can support younger generations, including developing a school holiday program for teens centred around resilience, confidence, emotional awareness, leadership, connection and practical life skills.

To me, these aren't separate pursuits. They are different expressions of the same question: how do we create the conditions for people, communities and future generations to thrive?

Beyond the Clinic

A Little More About Me

Outside of my work, I’ve always been drawn to adventure, movement, music and exploring what it means to live fully.

Sport and travel have been a major part of my life.

I’ve competed nationally in road cycling, cross-country and downhill mountain biking, and duathlon, rowed at A-level, served as head CrossFit trainer at ADFA, and competed in downhill skiing for the Australian Army Ski Team.

Some of my favourite adventures have included summiting Huayna Potosí in Bolivia, hiking the Kokoda Track, trekking the Salkantay route to Machu Picchu, scuba diving in Cuba & Fiji, rock climbing at Mount Arapiles, trail running in Switzerland and backcountry skiing in Japan.

Connection Beyond Words

Unexpected Connections

Animals have been another quiet thread throughout my journey. From three years house sitting across the UK and Europe to unexpected encounters while travelling, I’ve shared my life with countless animals and often found connection in the most unlikely places.

While living in the Costa Rican jungle, four kittens were born beneath my house. Helping raise them became one of the unexpected joys of living there. During COVID, while looking after a beachfront hotel, an Alaskan Malamute seemed to adopt me and would join me for long walks along the beach, wandering freely beside me.

Earlier, while living in the rainforest near Kuranda in Far North Queensland, I developed a particular connection with bats and spent time volunteering at a nearby bat rescue.

Animals have continually reminded me how much communication happens beyond words.

Everything is energy. Connection is often something we feel long before we can explain it.

Music & Expression

Music Has Been Another Constant.

I began playing piano at two, received a music scholarship at Scots College in Wellington, and have DJ’d at festivals, clubs and events for more than a decade.

I also play djembe and didgeridoo and have facilitated ecstatic dance and sound-healing experiences.

I’m deeply curious about the different ways humans make sense of themselves and the world.

My own path has included meditation, yoga, shamanic traditions, non-duality, astrology, numerology and Human Design. I’m a Leo Sun, Pisces Moon, Capricorn Rising, Life Path 9, and a 5/2 Manifesting Generator with Sacral Authority.

What Matters To Me

What I Value

Freedom Love Courage Curiosity Adventure Service

At heart, I want to live with authenticity and integrity, choosing what is real and kind over what is merely nice or expected. I want to stay open and curious about what I don’t yet understand, while recognising that some things can’t truly be known and allowing the mystery of life to simply be what it is. I do my best to embody the change I want to see in the world, and hope to use what I learn along the way to help others do the same.
